Things I've done for: Primal
Spring 2010
Primal (rebranded from Primal Fusion) is developing new "thought networking" applications based on their technology for semantic synthesis. They engaged me to help with the conceptual phases of a few of their product initiatives. One of the first activities which we've done together were a number of
user tests. These evaluations with real end users were used as inputs while
sketching out product explorations and interface improvements. The ideas which emerged from this exercise were then explicitly followed up by rounds of
feedback and revisions with various team members. Finally some concepts were also taken even further into more detailed
design mockups based on a pre-existing visual style.
1.Informal user testing and issue prioritization
2.Rapid concept exploration by means of interactive sketching
3.Sharing, discussing and revising the work based on team feedback
4.Detailing the interface while adhering to an existing visual style
What was said in the end
Jakub has a great mix of creativity, design sensitivity, and tactical skills -- and of course, he's a clever guy who's fun to work with. I had that pleasure for several months, when Jakub worked as part of Primal's design team. He produced a design concept for a new product and helped make some notable improvements to those we'd already launched.
